A Strategy For Getting Tons of Traffic to An Article
Posted by: | CommentsThis is a strategy for getting quick targeted traffic to your article. Now, you’re going to have to put in some extra work, outside of the research on the article and writing the article, but it can really pay off.
This is what I call the mini-guerrilla marketing campaign. What I mean by guerrilla marketing is that you simply go a little crazy and get the link to your article in as many places as possible. Get that link in front of every targeted eyeball that you can.
I call it mini because you’re only doing this for one article and maybe only for an hour. Think of it as a power hour where your hair is on fire and you need to submit the link to your article to as many places as possible.
If you have a mailing list, mail them. If you have a blog, post about it on there. If you have a Twitter following, tweet about there. If you have Myspace or Facebook friends, post about it on there. That is the importance of building up your assets.
You can post about it in any number of different social networking or social bookmarking sites. You can put a link to it in your signature line and post in various forums. You can submit it various article directories, of course.

These 20 days are also my new deadline to re-launch the internet business training program. But this time I am not going to launch just for the sake of launching. But I am setting a goal. So in 20 Days that will bring us to March 3rd.
I should have a better idea if this is realistic or not within 2 weeks.

Create Original Content that holds value
There is no question that content is the King of the road when it comes to blogging.
This has been preached Day in and Day out. You will find this to be the truth whenever you look around at successful sites.
The Content should be focused on the theme of the site. Sometimes, including myself, I can end up sticking content on the site that is not related to what my readership wants. Once in a while this can be ok. But do not get into this habit. Remember, there is millions of pieces of content floating around on the web.
Keep yours fresh and ON target as well.
This tip is for me as well as you. Make sure it is well written content and free from spelling errors and grammatical errors.
If you want to be authoritative and be taken seriously then this is an area to pay particular attention to.
If you can not write well, then outsource it. It may take you a few tries to find someone who is good, but the time spent will be well worth it.
And last but not least…Let YOU shine through on the site if it is going to be in the authority site model.
Now if you are affiliate marketing for dollars, which is very profitable and fun, you can tend to get away with a lesser quality of content compared to an authoritative type site model..
